Dr. Tracy Li Cheung in Westchester County NY
Dr. Tracy Li Cheung is a Board Certified Orthodontist who was born and raised in Manhattan. She is a graduate of the Juilliard Pre-College Division where she studied classical piano, and of Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn Heights where she completed her academic studies.
Dr. Cheung received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Stanford University, while also engaging in summer research fellowships in chemistry and physics. Subsequently, she attended UCSF School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with top honors. Dr. Cheung was awarded the prestigious Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity Academic Achievement Award, which is presented to the student with the highest academic standing in the graduating class. Dr. Cheung completed her three-year orthodontic specialty training at UCLA, where she received both a Masters of Science in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Cheung was active in research at UCSF and UCLA, and was invited to give oral presentations at the Cleft Lip and Palate Association Annual Meeting and at the American Association of Orthodontics Annual Session. Dr. Cheung’s dedication to research resulted in first author publications in the prestigious peer-reviewed scientific journals, American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and PLOS ONE.
Dr. Cheung is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. As an Orthodontic Expert in Briarcliff Manor, she also achieved Affiliate Membership in the Angle Society, which involved presenting cases to be judged to the highest standards.
