Meet Dr. Tracy Li Cheung
Tracy Li Cheung DDS MS
Dr. Tracy Li Cheung is a Board Certified Orthodontist based in Westchester County, New York. Born and raised in Manhattan, Dr. Cheung brings a unique blend of academic excellence, artistic discipline, and scientific rigor to her practice.
She is an alumna of the Juilliard Pre-College Division, where she trained in classical piano, and a graduate of Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn Heights. Dr. Cheung earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Concentration in Piano from Stanford University, while also conducting research in chemistry and physics through competitive summer fellowships.
Her passion for science led her to the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry, where she graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was recognized with the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity Academic Achievement Award for graduating at the top of her class. She went on to complete a three-year orthodontic residency at UCLA, where she earned both a Master of Science in Oral Biology and a Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Cheung has a strong background in academic research, with invited oral presentations at national conferences including the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Session and the Cleft Lip and Palate Association Annual Meeting. Her research has been published as first author in leading peer-reviewed journals such as the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and PLOS ONE.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
